2021 Season (Freshman): Appeared in 11 games, making 6 starts and totaling 509 minutes- played a full 90 minutes at Jefferson on September 21, where he scored his first collegiate goal- played 60 or more minutes in three additional games; at Southern New Hampshire (9/11), Southern Connecticut (9/15) and against #16 Gannon (9/18)- tallied one assist at Caldwell on October 31. 

High School: Three-year varsity starter at Appoquinimink High School for head coach Adam Bear - helped lead the team to a perfect 15-0 season as a senior, winning the DIAA State Championship – named First Team All-State as a junior and senior – also played baseball.

Personal: Colby Henri Niggebrugge - son of Rob and Deanna Niggebrugge – has three older siblings, Brittany, Austin, and Brianna, and a twin brother Colby – twin brother, Colby, plays on the Wilmington men’s soccer team as well – brother, Austin, played baseball at University of Delaware (2013-18) – cousin, Brock Niggebrugge, played baseball at University of Delaware (2011-15) – majoring in Liberal Studies at Wilmington University – from Middletown, Del. – favorite athlete is Lionel Messi – also enjoys baseball, friends and family – favorite professional sports team is Arsenal – the perfect meal would be chicken, broccoli, and corn before and after games – listens to Headlines by Drake before games – considers his mom and dad his heroes.
