Prior to Wilmington: Spent four years at Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. After not competing her freshman year, she played in 14 matches over the next three years, for a total of 26 sets. Across three seasons, she tallied three kills, 70 assists (including 58 in 2023), and 22 digs.

High School: Attended Academy of Notre Dame in Villanova, Pennsylvania, where she was a four-year varsity starter. Her team was Inter-AC and PIASSA Champs all four years she was there, as she became the first player in program history to record 1,000 assists alongside All Main-Line and All-Inter AC First-Team honors, plus an All-Delco Honorable Mention. She also participated in crew and swim, and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Christine Marie Covello - daughter of Diane Carman and Tom Covello. Has a younger brother - Ryan. Father, Tom, played collegiate golf at the University of Maryland and LaSalle University before becoming a professional golfer. Obtaining her MBA degree from Wilmington University, with aspirations to work in sales or marketing. From Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Says she is ambidextrous - went to Junior Olympics for swimming - her spirit animal is an alligator - would choose Channing Tatum if she could date any celebrity - perfect meal would be salmon caesar salad with fries.
